About

My name is Alyona Siergieieva and I am a self-taught artist with a Ukrainian background.
I have always been creative, but for most of my life, I struggled to find a dedicated space for my creativity. I kept searching for meaning, for a purpose—but that purpose was always external. It was about making gifts for friends, painting a wedding guest book, or decorating a thermal cup for a birthday.
But one day, I realized that the true purpose was within me. My soul was searching for a way to express itself—not through words or sounds, but through colors. That was how my soul longed to communicate. And once I embraced this realization, I allowed myself to create—not for others, but for myself.
It became a conversation with my soul. Sometimes, it was about emotions; other times, it was about realizations and deep self-reflection. These conversations grew so frequent and profound that, in my darkest moments, painting became my cure. Whether it was burnout from my engineering job, the full-scale war in my home country, Ukraine, or the loss of my amazing mother, I painted.
Through all the turbulent and identity-shifting experiences in my life, I painted. I painted to speak with my soul, to listen to it, to ask for help, and to heal. I paint to come closer to myself and to share my realizations and observations with the world.
Welcome to my art world ♥️
All my paintings tell a story or represent a feeling.
Take a moment and see what you find in them.
