The Mountain Inside explores the idea that what we spend our lives searching for may already exist within us.
A human profile emerges from the landscape, almost indistinguishable from the mountains surrounding it. Inside the figure, another mountain appears — illuminated by a warm, distant light.
The boundaries between inner and outer worlds begin to dissolve. The landscape becomes the person, and the person becomes the landscape.
The work is a reflection on the vastness we carry within ourselves — the parts that remain unknown until we become quiet enough to notice them. What appears to be a journey towards something distant may, in the end, be a journey back to ourselves.
